Saves units's identity to Objects.sav file in campaign directory as entry name.

unit saveIdentity name
Parameters:
unit: Object
name: String
Return Value:
Boolean - true if successful, otherwise false

Example 1:
_successful = player saveIdentity "playerid";

Can be also used in singleplayer missions to save player status before cutscenes and load it to player's double.
