Bohemia Interactive's Games
The original Operation Flashpoint series (for the PC) created the new benchmark in modern realistic military gaming and included Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis in 2001 and (after an updated Campaignwas released by the publishers, Codemasters) Operation Flashpoint: Resistance in 2002. The games won many awards and were later distributed in one box by Codemasters as Operation Flashpoint: GOTY (i.e. Game of the Year) Edition, including all three Campaigns.
Next cam Operation Flashpoint: Elite (for the Xbox) which was released in 2005. Unlike many PC game conversions to a games console, all of the in-game functionality of the PC version was provided in this release, which included modified versions of the original Cold War Crisis and Resistance Campaigns.
