lastIndexOf(text: any, startIndex: number): number;

Client, Server, Custom Controller

Description

Returns position of the last occurrence of a specified text in selected string.

Notes

  • Returns -1 if the text is not found.
  • Start index - Position at which to start the search.
  • Instruction search from end so start index should be > 0 (otherwise it will always return -1).
  • Indexing is same as Array - 0 is the first position in a string, 1 is the second, 2 is the third ...
  • Instruction is case sensitive.
