Description:
Return the value of variable in the variable space of given object or location.

Syntax

Syntax:
object getVariable name
Parameters:
object: Object or Location
name: String - Variable name that was defined in setVariable (Case sensitive)
Return Value:
Any Value

Examples

Example 1:
_aVariable = _myTruck getVariable "myVariable";

Notes

Returns Nothing if the variable doesn't exists.
Returns Anything if the object is undefined. There is a third parameter of type Boolean that when set to True makes the variable global. If a variable was set on a playable unit, even with and AI disabled the variable will be present when a JIP player controls the same unit.
