It seems an attached object's area is re-aligned as if it had direction = 0, irrespective of the objects orientation or location's direction setting. Will need to retest this to confirm. --Ceeeb

Tested it. Location's direction is independent of the object's direction, but it seems an attached object's area isn't re-aligned to 0 - the location's direction setting is retained.--Master85
