Just in case it is unclear, the number you give resize is the number of elements you want the array to have. _myArray = []; hint str _myArray; //"[]" _myArray resize 4; hint str _myArray; //"[<null>,<null>,<null>,<null>]" _myArray resize 1; hint str _myArray; //"[<null>]" resize cannot be used to create a new array.
