I would argue it was KaRRiLLioN's RTS map that was the first CTI type mission (build/control resources) and that Mike Melvin took it to a whole new level. KaRRiLLioN's first RTS maps were so new, they didn't have dialogs in them, but rather you controlled what you got with the mouse wheel (as far as I remember).<br | I would argue it was KaRRiLLioN's RTS map that was the first CTI type mission (build/control resources) and that Mike Melvin took it to a whole new level. They're both great guys and each deserves much respect from us as they really contributed to the development of our (my) favorite gametype.<br | They're both great guys and each deserves much respect from us as they really contributed to the development of our (my) favorite gametype.<br> | ||

Re: History
I would argue it was KaRRiLLioN's RTS map that was the first CTI type mission (build/control resources) and that Mike Melvin took it to a whole new level. KaRRiLLioN's first RTS maps were so new, they didn't have dialogs in them, but rather you controlled what you got with the mouse wheel (as far as I remember).
I found this on the forums where KaRRiLLioN mentions he started in 2001.
They're both great guys and each deserves much respect from us as they really contributed to the development of our (my) favorite gametype.
