In the year 2007, the world is thrown into a crisis again. A unknwon "Hardliner", probably an ex-general (according to secret service reports), has taken control of Russia and cancelled agreements with western countries, comprising the pipeline project through the baltic sea, starting from Russia and ending in east Germany. To dominate the baltic sea, Russia gains control of the small island of Novajev, opening the flight routes to Germany's baltic sea harbors.
According to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, allied forces react after the raids of russians fighters and bombers on the german harbors of Flensburg, Eckernförde, Kiel and Rostock to name some. Seeing the damage done by the raids, the SACEUR decides a quick strike is necessary to win back the island and prevent further damaging.

Baltic Shield
Description
Operation Baltic Shield is a project of the Acid Viper Studios. The project Operation Baltic Shield, comprises the campaign, Operation Baltic Shield itself and a few single player missions. If the campaign has success, AVS will provide additional mutiplayer missions and convert existing SP missions (i.e campaign missions) to multiplayer.
The Campaign will be released in parts. Chapter 1 and some SP missions will most likely be released for Operation Flashpoint and before the release of Arma. The rest for ArmA.
The Scenario of Op. BS takes place on Novajev.
