The Russian Ground Forces represent the Russian Federation in ArmA II.
Overview
The Russian Ground Forces is the supporter of the Chernorussian Movement of the Red Star. After the Red Star Rebels have lost most of their power in Chernarussia the Russian invade the Chernarussian country to help them. In ArmA II, Russian soldiers wear Flora pattern camouflage uniforms and use updated versions of old Soviet weapons and equipment.
History
The Russian Ground Forces were formed out of the remnants of the Soviet military in 1992, after the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991. The Russian Ground Forces took posession of the old Soviet military equipment and since then they tried to update them to modern standards.
