Overview
The original BIS revive mechanics introduced in 1.42 has been abandoned and "Revive" template is no longer available. The alternative way to configure Revive system is by changing the scenario attributes from EDEN editor.
Enabling
To enable new Revive system, open your scenario in 3DEN editor, then go to "Attributes" >> "Multiplayer"
Scroll down to revive section
Revive Mode
- "None" - revive system is disabled
- "Enabled for all players" - revive system is enabled for all players
- "Controlled by player Attributes" - only players with specified attributes can be revived
Required Trait
- "None" - anyone can revive others
- "Medic" - only medics can revive
Required Items
- "None" - player can revive other without having soecific items in his inventory
- "Medikit" - medical kit is required for revive (item class name "Medikit")
- "First Aid Kit / Medikit" - medikit or FAK is needed for revive (items class names "Medikit" or "FirstAidKit")
First Aid Consumed on Revive
If enabled, First Aid Kit is removed from player's inventory, after he has successfully revived another player
Revive Duration
Time required to revive a person
Medic Speed Multiplier
Defines how faster medics can revive
Force Respawn Duration
Delay for forced revive by player
Incapacitation Mode
- "Basic" - Basic injury simulation, player cannot be killed immediately
- "Advanced" - Hits from larger calibers or hits on unprotected parts can kill the player immediately
- "Realistic" - Realistic simulation, hit to the head leaves no chances
Bleed Out Duration - The time player dies if no help managed
Usage
When you get hit, you have a chance to stay incapacitated, your movement will be disabled (only turning head possible), AI is about to finish you, if in their line of sight.
Once incapacitated, you can hold 'Space' button to force respawn.
If your team mate is incapacitated, you should approach him, and hold 'Space' to revive. Depending on mission settings you may need FAK or medikit for that.
