Template:Infobox AFV The Mi-17 (NATO code "Hip")and its variants are the transport horses of countries supplied by Russia and post-soviet states. This vehicle has two main versions, Mi-17 with rockets and the unarmed Mi-8. Both of the helicopters in the BIS games resemble the more advanced Mi-17 version, with upgraded engines and other enhancements. Modders have made their own Mi-8 version for more accurate presentation of the older air frame.
