right, this is your user page.
this is a link to your talk page. since it exists, it's in blue.
this is a dummy link. it's red because the page it links to doesn't yet exist. when you click on the red link, you'll automatically start the editing for that page.
same principle applies to categories, except the link has the word 'category' in it.
this is a link to the OFP editing category.
this is a link to a dummy category which doesn't exist yet. click it to create the category.
to put stuff into a category, you need to put a link to the category somewhere in the page you want included - usually goes at the top. only difference is that you take out the colon before 'category' in the link. the wiki doesn't show this type of link.
for example, there should be *** *** a link between those asterisks. but there isn't.
click 'edit' above to see the code for these links, the bits inside the square brackets.
you see at the bottom of this page how you have a link "Category: Editing: Flashpoint" in a box? that's what the link between the asterisks does. if you need any more pointers, click here, click the '+' next to 'edit' and leave me a cry for help ;)
