VBS Policy
VBS is to be integrated into the wiki in the same manner as all other BI products. When writing articles though, it has to be clearly stated which product screen shots, links and resources are referring to, in order to avoid confusion.
*Pictures/screen shots must be clearly identifed as a VBS product and must follow wiki images guidelines for content.
*Links for VBS resources are allowed.
*Articles describing technical topics specific to VBS are allowed.
If there is any doubt in posting VBS content queries should be directed to vbs@bistudio.com or the VBS Resources forum.

Introduction

The following proposals have been submitted by Wikipedians to help improve the community wiki. If you have policy or a guideline to suggest then please add it below. Use the discussion page to add any comments.

Proposals

Image Restrictions

In order to keep a mass uploading of images to the BI Wiki, some guidelines should be followed when creating your Mod page, or your personal Wiki page, or any pages for that matter. A limit of 5 - 8 images limit per page. Assumption of 1 -2 pics for logo, 4 pics max for screen shots, 1 image for squad.xml.

Templates

To be concise, easily used and easily remebered.

 • Templates should include an example of usage.
 • Templates should be linked to category:Templates so they are easy to find for other users. Use the <noinclude> </noinclude> tags around the category to prevent all articles using this template to be categorised automagically.

Multilingual Wiki

 • Create the same articles but in different languages

Other File types

 • Some have requested other file types such as videos, pbo, sqm files. See talk page for discussion.
