Name, clantag and logo

The 3 founders looked for a name to identify with, and it had to allow a unique Clantag. Austria and Germany were their origin countries and they also wanted to act as a skilled team. So they founded the Austrian German - Special Forces, short [AGSF]. As the Clan became a registered eSports assocciation, the name was changed to a more professional looking, AGSF.eSports e.V. with the clantag AGSF|Nickname.eSports. e.V. are the german shortens for a "registered assocciation"

Philosophy
According to the statutes, we focus to put a platform for the spare time hobby of playing computer games at our members disposal and playing successful together, but our primary goal to archieve is to establish long term relationships between our members.

Structure
Committee
The committee contains 8 persons who are yearly elected by all members in the general meeting. Every member is allowed to apply for every position in the committee. The current possessors can be viewed here: Committee
- Chairman and vice chairman
Their terms of reference are to represent the association in public, take care of the members and their needs, establish and foster contacts and do the administrative work.
- Cashier and vice cashier
They take care of all money related things; For example collecting and listing the membership fees and paying the associations monthly bills.
- Secretary and vice secretary
Primary they take care of everything official which is written digitally or to paper; Secondary they assist the chairman in administrative belongings.
- Financial controllers (2x)
Twice a year they review the books and investigate the financial actions taken by the cashier and the vice cashier.

The Battlefield 2 section was founded original as a temporary solution to get over the time till Armed Assault will be released. Meanwhile it has evolved to a fully functional standalone Section which participates with moderate success in several leagues.
AGSF.rts
This is our "Real Time Strategy" Section (RTS) which is currently completely inactive, because its lack of a game worth to play.
AGSF.fun
This section contains all players who like to play just for fun, and have no semi-professional ambitions. Retired players, who have become good friends to us, also often stay in AGSF.fun to keep in touch with us.
