A Total Conversion is an extension that tries to create a new game within the Poseidon engine. It comes with addons and missions treating a specific topic, like a historical or fictional war. Often total conversions also modify the GUI of the game.
Most total conversions have to be played stand-alone. That means that they are not compatible with other total conversions and sometimes even addons.
