William Porter's Blog is a fictional online diary which was started in March 2nd, 2006.
The protagonist is a American soldier who has been deployed to the Kingdom of South Sahrani amid tensions with the neighbouring communist Democratic Republic of Sahrani to the north; as part of an operation to train the military forces of the Kingdom of South Sahrani . Blog updates are usually posted by William Porter himself or his friend Frank; the posts detail their everyday routines on Sahrani and tell of the hard life on the island.
Recently, Porter obtained a camera phone and began posting pictures and short video sequences from around the base camp, to the delight of the blog’s audience.
