Bug Entries

Placing an Helicopter on the map and removing it's fuel still makes the crew "abandon" it's vehicle and proceed on foot.

I'm not quite sure this is a bug, it seems like a good idea for the crew to abandon it if they have no fuel. I guess it would mean no more using the no fuel method to keep them grounded but there are other ways of doing this, and the AI should abandon their vehicle if they cannot use it.

First Unit placed in a Helicopter still is placed on the co-pilots seat instead of being placed in the back (or the side of an MH-6).

Again I don't think this can be called a bug. There's nothing wrong with using the co-pilot seat as a cargo seat. At least that way you can put a pilot in the co-pilot seat as cargo, and it's not too unrealistic IMO if the infantry uses it too. --Big Dawg KS 05:44, 16 December 2006 (CET)

Greetings KS :)

I can agree with you at the first point, at least until a certain point. In my opinion this causing more problems then it solves. I could say it this way, there's still the (hypothetical) chance for the crew that the chopper will be refueled.

As for the cargo Proxy thing, at least in an MH-6 which might be used for fast insertions, the team member in the co-pilots seat needs much more time to get out of the seat then as he would sit on the side of the chopper. And at least in my active time, sitting on the co-pilots seat was a big no. Or better not possible cause we always had two pilots in a chopper.

How about an additional crew member for the helo? This solves your problem as you have the, as you say, usual co-pilot and the infantry boards in the back :) --Serclaes 10:34, 16 December 2006 (CET)

Good Idea I had too, just ... I'm a lazy bummer and well after five years in OFP Editor I dislike the idea of changing everything :) But yes it's an idea that doesn't need to much work.

Hi raedor, I do always by adding three ~ to the end of my submission. I once added four by accident until I realised it must be three. If I'm still doing something wrong please enlighten me :)
