In OFP nearestObject had the annoying behaviour that nearestObject[obj, typeof obj] returned the object itself. This meant that it was very difficult to find the nearest team-mate for example without writing code to iterate over all known objects and manually compare the distances. Is this behaviour changed for Armed Assault ?

Icon for introduced in ...

A generally remark, i know...: Although it might interesting sometimes to know when a command was introduced, wouldn't it a better idea to show the user for which game(s) the command is valid. Or will a command/syntax labeled by e.g. the "Flashpoint" 1.0 icon automatically also be a valid command for the succeeding games? --TomNedry 23:56, 9 February 2007 (CET)

There's no official statement on what happens after ArmA, but all OFP commands (beside object) are still working in ArmA, afaik. --raedor 00:07, 10 February 2007 (CET)

Copy that! Although it's a little bit dissapointing that there's no statement for this subject-development for the time after ArmA...;-) --TomNedry 12:40, 10 February 2007 (CET)
