William Porters Blog is a soldiers fictive online diary which was started in March 2nd, 2006.
The protagonist is a American soldier who has been deployed in the Democratic Republic of Sahrani and his job is to train Sahranians in military forces. His (and his friend Frank's) posts are about their everyday routine and how hard duty on Sahrani is.
Eventually he "got" a celular phone with camera and began posting pictures and short video sequences from around the basecamp, very much to the delight of a most anticipatory community.
