countEnemy – Talk
Does it count unknown units?
During all the testing I've done I've never gotten a correct enemy count if the units weren't known to the one counting. They seem to need a knowledge level of about .1 about the enemy before they count him. I've posted it to the bug list & bug or feature list, but Suma keeps saying they do count everyone.
I'm very confused now... ;)
Could somebody else please test this? I have two test missions: mission1, mission2 to demonstrate the behaviour.
In the simplest case there's the player, far away from an enemy unit (named "eu1"), and I'm counting it via player countEmeny [eu1]. If I haven't looked at the enemy yet, I will get a zero, once I get closer to him or report him, then the count will be correct.
