Is: _trigger setTriggerType "WEST G" really defining a "GUARDED BY WEST" trigger ? It seems not working in Arma 2 v. 1.02. See also my note here: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/triggerType

Seems unlikely. Check these examples used by BI missions:
