Bohemia Interactive's Games
The original Operation Flashpoint (OFP) series for the PC created the new benchmark in modern realistic military gaming and included Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis in 2001 and Operation Flashpoint: Resistance in 2002. The games won many awards and were later distributed in one box by Codemasters as Operation Flashpoint: Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition.
Next came Operation Flashpoint: Elite (OFP:Elite) for the Xbox which was released in 2005. Unlike many PC game conversions, all of the in-game functionality of the PC version was provided in this release, which included modified versions of the original Cold War Crisis and Resistance campaigns.
The upcoming new game from Bohemia Interactive is Armed Assault (ArmA) for the PC. It is a true successor to Operation Flashpoint, due for release in Summer 2006, as soon as a publisher is willing to raise a hand.
A Next Generation PC game is Bohemia's next project after Armed Assault. This game was originally to be called Operation Flashpoint 2, but as Codemasters own the rights to the trade mark "Operation Flashpoint" it is unlikely that title will be used. The game is sometimes refered to as 'Game 2' as there is no official name announced for it.
Before Operation Flashpoint some other games were produced by Bohemia Interactive and the Spanel brothers.
Bohemia Interactive's Simulations
VBS1 (Virtual Battlespace) are the military equivalent of Operation FlashPoint specifically tailored for real soldiers to use as a training and simulation tool.
VBS2 is the latest version of the proven military training tool by BI Studio's based on a new generation of Bohemia Interactive's proprietary technology.
