The original Operation Flashpoint series for PC created the new benchmark in modern realistic military gaming and included Operation Flashpoint in 2001 and Operation Flashpoint: Resistance in 2002. The games won many awards and were later distributed in one box by Codemasters as Operation Flashpoint: Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition.
