This scene demonstrates how conditions can be used.

The Trigger Zone

When you look at the script attached to the Trigger Zone, you will see that it checks what kind of hat does the player wear and writes out a text based on that.


The Door

  • When we detect that the Player tries to open the door we show an Ask player dialogue.
  • This will ask the given player (the one who who triggered the event) a question.
  • When the question is answered an event is executed in Ask player Game Logic's script and you can analyze the answer and perform some action based on what the Player has said.
  • You can react to one specific answer only or decide to perform various actions when the Player says various things - that is all up to you.
